Do you shoot film or digital?
Digital, I typically do not shoot film for wedding work. However it does happen, we can discuss this further in person just because there is so much to explain.

Do you prefer to shoot in black and white or color? If you do both, what’s the typical breakdown?
Everything in digital is shot in color If something is converted to black and white, it is done because I felt it added so much more to the image. There are often times I know something will make a stunning black and white image while I’m shooting it. Most images will be in color. The files that are delivered to you are exactly as I intended them to be.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?
You choose, my prices include me and I work with a handful of talented and trusted photographers that shoot well with me at around $50 per hour paid directly to them due to taxes. I still process all of their images so they look the same but It's their responsibility to get them to me shortly after the wedding. I do not charge extra for the editing that I do in the event a second photographer is selected.

What are your rates?
Wedding pricing varies with selections , my one, all inclusive package is $1,800 + tax. It includes high resolution digital files, with a print release and personal web use agreement. A 50% retainer fee is due at the time you book your wedding date. The balance is due 30 days before your event.

How soon after the wedding will I get pictures?
On average, my processing time tends to range between 6-8 weeks until delivery of your files. I aim for shorter turn around times but want to make sure I can give every couple edited files that aren't rushed. I do offer rush editing at an additional charge because I likely have other couples waiting as well, and cannot push back their delivery date.

How will the pictures be delivered?
I will physically send you a thumbdrive, please remember to back these images up. If you need a copy sent to a different address please add $30 to your total.

Is an album included?
It can be, anything can be added for a fair price, I work with a number of labs to find almost any product.

How much do additional prints cost?
I get this question a lot, but there is really no way to answer it without knowing what size of print your are looking for. I do sell prints in two ways, however. I offer affordable gift prints in sizes 4×6, 5×7, & 8×10 and I also offer fully matted, retouched, and coated prints at a higher price point. Both are professionally printed and will be gorgeous. I recommend that you purchase deluxe prints for display in your home. Of course, you are also still welcome to take your digital files and print them at the lab of your choice as well.

Are the prints on archival quality paper?
Absolutely! If they are purchased through me, that is. I cannot say or guarantee the quality of any prints that you have printed on your own. The lab I primarily work with is available for professionals only, but I can help point you in other great directions as well.

Who owns the copyright to the photos?
Clients receive unlimited personal use permission for the photos, but I maintain ownership of the copyright. Basically, you are allowed to use them in any way that you would like with the exclusion of commercial use. If you would like your photos to be shared with another wedding vendor, simply let us know and we’ll talk to the vendor for you.

How many pictures will you take? How many of those will I see?
I take a lot of photos! The number typically depends on the amount of time an event is, the amount of time with just the couple, and the amount of group shots. If you have more than one shooter, videographer etc. You will receive anything and everything that meets my quality standards. Basically an okay photo to my standards might mean the world to you, there is no reason for you not to have it. Everyone so far has been delighted with the number of files they receive.

I don’t need an engagement or bridal session. Can I get a discount for not doing one?
If you don’t want an engagement or bridal session, you do not need to do one. However, since engagement and bridal sessions are complimentary I cannot offer a discount for not doing them. They are set in place to achieve a better working relationship between us and therefore usually results in better images the day of your wedding.

How far do you travel?
Anywhere, and because I love to travel I only charge my costs.
